For several years, Weber has been offering, in addition to traditional physical training, digital training via the platform Moblrn. These provide new forms of learning that can effectively reach more people and a broader audience. Beijer Fasad and Betong recently introduced Weber's course, "Casting with Concrete," to 1500 employees at Beijer, receiving positive feedback.

For several years, Weber has offered digital training on mobile devices, known as micro-training, as a complement to traditional classroom training. With micro-learning, training sessions can take place anytime, anywhere, through an easily accessible format.

This also makes it possible to effectively reach a broader audience and more people at Weber's resellers when not everyone has the opportunity to attend physical training sessions.

1500 employees at Beijer have access to Weber's digital product training.

Recently, Weber in collaboration with Beijer has developed the micro-course “Casting with concrete,” which is now available to 1500 employees at Beijer on their mobile devices. The training is voluntary, but just a few days after the launch, nearly 200 people had started the training with good results and positive feedback.

“We have received very positive feedback from those who have completed the course with requests for follow-up physical trainings,” says Anders Ek, who has been involved in developing the training at Weber.

The course also includes an evaluation part where some of the comments have been; “Good information, easy to grasp,” “Easy to perform,” “Clear and good with current examples,” “Good and convenient way to receive information,” “Good training with the right level of difficulty, easy to understand.”

A significant portion of Beijer's employees also state that the course has provided great added value and inspiration, making them feel more confident in giving tips and advice on casting works to the end customer.

“We are currently developing the next digital micro-course in masonry, which will be launched to Beijer at the end of August,” says Anders Ek.

Saint-Gobain has a global framework agreement with the Swedish company Moblrn, which offers a simple platform for creating and distributing product training to mobile devices.
